Cruel quakes followed harsh rains claimed properties and lives at India's poor neighbor Nepal. Nepal was always a small, humble, poor country in the laps of the Himalayas. The April Earthquake series slashed several historical monuments and put the country's economy and future at stake. Even the Everest avalanches made the trek nightmare for the high aspirants.Help was readily offered by India, US and rescue operations continued.
