Bean: a specie apart

Rowan Atkinson, our all-time favourite entertainer needs a special place on my blog. There's barely an Indian kid unfamiliar to the term Mr Bean. Be it a child of four or a grandpa of eighty, Bean has been the all-time superhit in family comedy. Rowan Atkinson has been an inspiration for me from childhood. The roles played by him cannot be quoted as easy, and as onlooked by the world, can only be accomplished successfully by its original master. Bean is subjected to various tough situations and the crisp of the show lies in the Mr Bean's wit of handling situations and his exceptionally 'gifted' sense of humour. Mr. Bean was compiled in Britain back in early 1990s with such efficient, updated technology of that time, still it instills a nostalgia of the old-gold silent comedy.

If you enjoyed Mr Bean, do consider watching Blackadder, another fine piece of sitcom by Rowan Atkinson.
