Old Relative or New Stranger

Well, to the beginning of my college life, I would like to possess a economy smartphone, no not for gaming, just for the sake of being technologically ahead and for ease of living. I am stuck in a battle between two economy superphones: Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 & LeEco Le 1S.

Xiaomi is more or less a old player in the market(having established itself in 2010) and having carved out approximately 6% of the consumers worldwide. Xiaomi has been renowned as one of the best-looking device manufacturer and also as a forerunner in terms of mobile computing technology. The Redmi series released by Xiaomi has developed a genuine faith towards the company in the conservative Indian minds.

LeEco (or LeTV as you call it) is to your surprise a quite old company, founded back in 2004. Previously exclusively a host of movies and videos online, LeEco has recently entered the smartphone market powered by its "high-adrenaline power-packed" phones. LeEco is a giant venture, as the company powers sports, music and even driverless cars. The company continues to sell its products exclusively though e-commerce to grow faith and hope.

Both are Chinese companies having made drastic entry into the Indian market lately with their robust marketing and economy gadgets surpassing sales of sluggish Indian makers like Micromax, Intex, Karbonn and others. The battle isn't the end. There are more than a cent companies in the queue to enter the Indian market with their "budget phones" in the upcoming years.
