The 'un-ugly' Indian demonetisation

A witty friend of mine asked me today if I could make a brainy review on the recent demonitisation of the 500 and 1000 notes in India. I thought for a while, then made a humble attempt.

In a word, clever decision.
In a sentence, timely, wisely, strategist decision.
I continued:
Note carefully how well it would help curbing black money deals. Say you have five hundred black Rs 1000 notes. Now, the decision was announced at a clever time of 8pm when people were busy closing their work and rushing to relax. Now that you have only 4hrs to deal with those notes (the kind Reserve Bank of India wouldn't accept your black notes and give you milky white notes), naturally you would fail to exchange/deal with those notes and consequently they would act as scratch pad for you. Hardly you would be able to exchange those notes and thus you are left with heaps of worthless black notes. Oh! so much useless waste of paper!
Now note how well it'll tackle the new currency security. The new currency notes are said to be equipped with a nano GPS chip that again has a UID. So as you can't add a new UID to the Govt's database, your are left with no option but to shut down you black note printing machine.
Now finally note how worthy the surprise was. Ya, the surprise was really a surprise and it shouldn't be a shocking surprise for the genuine note users. And the best part of the game is the security measures the Govt took for months in preventing any leak of this suprise.
And then after saying so much, we both left without furthur review of my review. I leave it to my readers.
